CIMIC sets the strategic direction, financial expectations, risk profile and governance framework for the CIMIC Group and monitors the performance of its Operating Companies (CPB Contractors, Thiess, Sedgman, UGL, Pacific Partnerships and EIC Activities.)

As a JDE Business Analyst (Procurement), you will provide advice and support to CIMIC and its Operating Companies on maximising the value from the JDE application and co-ordinating the configuration, development and testing process. In addition, you will carry out investigation of new business system requirements and implement suitable solutions.


This is a permanent role based in Southbank, Brisbane.


Some of your duties will include:

  • Manage operational relationships with key business partners/stakeholders
  • Ensure technology initiatives meet quality assurance, risk management and process improvement criteria consistent with best practice methodologies and regulatory requirements
  • Initiate multiple simultaneous business systems projects and manage them through development, implementation, training and post-implementation review
  • Coordinate the facilitation of workshops to capture and document functional business requirements and undertake system reviews with business stakeholders
  • Coordinate / manage the user acceptance testing of changes and new software development
  • Provide subject matter expertise to the business where required, including systems audits and functional support
  • Maintain short and long term plans for the business system components (modules), including preparation of budgets
  • Travel domestically and / or internationally to corporate offices and project sites as required.


What skills and experience do you need?

  • 5+ years functional experience in JDE Procurement/Inventory/Subcontract Management
  • Relevant TAFE or tertiary qualifications Business, Accounting, Engineering or Information Systems (or studying towards)
  • Sound knowledge and proven experience supporting and maintaining the JDE application in a large, complex organisation
  • An understanding of;
    • procurement and e-procurement best practices
    • inventory concepts and supply chain management
    • subcontractor management, including insurances and retention
